Charys' Aeon Technologies Subsidiary Awarded $3 Million Contract
ATLANTA - March 28, 2007 -Charys Holding Company, Inc. ("Charys") (OTC Bulletin Board: CHYS), a leader in wireless communications and data infrastructure and in remediation and reconstruction, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Aeon Technologies, Inc. ("Aeon"), has been awarded a contract upgrading an operating Mobile Switching Center. Awarded from one of the nation's largest wireless carriers in the Southeast, this contract has an expected duration of six months, and an estimated value in excess of $3 million.
Telecommunications networks rely upon highly sophisticated communications equipment in order to insure reliable and fast customer service. This equipment, usually stored in remote, largely unmanned sites, requires support systems crucial to the security, safety and availability of these locations. Some of these systems include commercial power, HVAC, generators, DC plant and batteries, and environmental sensors. As part of its telecom site management service, Aeon will replace an existing system and expand the current switch area in order to maximize user productivity and achieve optimal network performance.
Wade Clark, President of Aeon, commented, "This contract further demonstrates our proven reliability and technical expertise. These Aeon trademarks, together with our customer centric business approach, increase our client's total value."
