Charys' Telecom Infrastructure Subsidiaries Complete First Project as Integrated Solutions Provider
ATLANTA--July 24, 2007--Charys Holding Company, Inc. ("Charys") (OTC Bulletin Board: CHYS - News) a provider of wireless communications, data infrastructure and restoration and reconstruction services, today announced that its Cotton Telecom line of business has completed the first segment of its inaugural project integrating the capabilities of previously independent subsidiaries into a turnkey solution for large service providers. Through its subsidiaries, Aeon Technologies, Inc. ("Aeon"), Complete Tower Sources, Inc. ("CTSI"), and Mitchell Site Acquisition, Inc. ("MSAI"), the company has successfully completed the proof stage of the project in the gulf coast region. This project consists of 800 plus microwave segments and utilizes services ranging from engineering and design to construction and radio alignment and testing. With the successful completion of the proof stage, Charys' subsidiaries will have the opportunity to participate in the remaining phases of the project, which will span more than a year and a half and are valued at over $5 million.
The project is designed to be executed in four phases. Using the alliance of previously independent subsidiaries, the combined breadth of Charys' expertise will offer service providers end to end management of those portions awarded to Cotton Telecom. MSAI will facilitate the field verification stage, as well as handle the control of real estate acquisition, permitting, zoning support, and project coordination. Aeon will implement the design stage using its internal state-of-the-art programs. CTSI, in conjunction with Aeon, will follow through with the building and installation stage. The now completed first test phase has shown the end to end capabilities on the installation of the program's first four segments.
Wade Clark, President of Aeon, commented, "Consolidating our telecom organizations allows us to expand our service offerings and better positions our division to deliver end to end services, which will in turn help reduce our customers capital outlay and provide us with the opportunity to increase market share for this contract as well as additional contracts with other customers."
"This project represents Charys' strategy of creating a unique one stop shop for our clients, meeting their wireless communications and data infrastructure needs," Charys' CEO, Billy V. Ray, Jr., stated. "The synergies of our subsidiaries fulfill the strong demand for telecommunications infrastructure and support services and Charys has consistently demonstrated the level of quality services required by our clients. We are very pleased with the teams' success integrating the communications and data infrastructure side of our business. We will also continue to develop similar opportunities as they arise through the expanding relationships of our Fortune 500 client base."
