Charys' Cotton Adds Borders® to Preferred Client Program

Charys Holding Company, Inc. ("Charys"), a company focused on the high growth Restoration and Reconstruction and Wireless Communications and Data Infrastructure sectors, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Cotton Companies ("Cotton") has added Borders, Inc. to its Preferred Client Program ("PCP"). Borders is a leading global retailer of books, music and movies with more than 1,200 stores worldwide.

Borders and Cotton will work together to prepare and design an advance emergency response plan that fits the retailer's needs in the event of a property loss, regardless of size or magnitude. The program provides Borders and Cotton with basic information, such as time and material pricing and vendor/contractor lists, which will enable them to forgo time consuming negotiations and get right to the business at hand – restoring operations.

Pete Bell, Cotton CEO, noted, "In a disaster, time is critical. Advance preparation speeds up the recovery process, limiting financial loss and business down time. Our PCP assures our clients that everything is in place when disaster strikes. Cotton can be anywhere within the country within hours after a loss; enabling us to react, mobilize, and execute the recovery plan as soon as possible."
